# Save The Vaquita Week

Save The Vaquita Week is a week of livestreams held once a year for the vaquita, the small porpoise that lives only in the northern Gulf of California, Mexico, and is the most endangered marine mammal in the world. Streamers on Twitch and YouTube spend part of their broadcast telling viewers about the vaquita, and viewers can donate to the Porpoise Conservation Society (Porpoise.org).

The 2026 event week runs Sunday 11 – Saturday 17 October 2026, in Pacific Time (America/Vancouver). The schedule lists 47 sessions from 46 streamers so far, and more are added as streamers publish them.

Anyone can become a supporter and get about six emails a year. Streamer and ambassador sign-ups are closed for this year.
